Licensed and insured concrete curb repair, replacement, and installation across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Westchester. We handle the NYC DOT permits, build to DOT specifications, and give you a free on-site estimate before any work begins.

Curbs are a small part of the streetscape, but they do a lot of work. A properly built curb channels stormwater to the drain, protects the sidewalk edge from tires and plows, and keeps the line between street and pedestrian space clear. When a curb cracks, sinks, or breaks apart, water pools, sidewalk edges crumble, and the property starts to look neglected.
Concrete Curb NYC focuses on curb work. Instead of treating curbs as an add-on to a bigger job, we inspect, repair, replace, and install them as the main job, working to NYC DOT standards and handling the permits that curb work requires. Homeowners, co-op boards, property managers, and general contractors call us when they want the curb done right the first time.
To be the curb contractor NYC property owners trust by name: curbs built to DOT standards, permits handled from day one, and work that lasts for decades instead of years.
To give every client an honest assessment, an itemized written quote, and a curb that passes inspection the first time. If a repair is enough, we'll say so. We never sell a replacement you don't need.
A brownstone owner in Brooklyn and a property manager overseeing a Queens shopping strip need very different things from a curb contractor. We plan every job around the property, the people who use it, and the schedule it has to fit into.

Curb work for retail, office, industrial, and parking properties, scheduled to keep entrances and loading areas open.

Every curb problem has a different fix. Here’s how we match the work to what your curb actually needs.
Cracks, chips, and spalling repaired on curbs that are still structurally sound, before small damage turns into a full replacement.
Badly damaged, sunken, or shifted curbs removed and rebuilt from the base, matched to the existing curb line and height.
New curbs for new construction, driveways, curb cuts, and parking areas, built to NYC DOT specifications.
Curbs damaged by utility cuts, plumbing work, or construction restored to their original condition and finish.
Under NYC Administrative Code Section 19-152, property owners are responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining the sidewalk next to their property. When NYC DOT finds a defect, it issues a Notice of Sidewalk Violation that gives the owner 75 days to make repairs. If the work isn’t done in time, the City can hire its own contractor and bill the owner for the cost.
Curbs work differently. In NYC, curbs are generally City property, and DOT may repair missing or defective curbs at no cost when it’s already doing violation-related sidewalk work or has an active curb repair contract. DOT still encourages property owners to fix defective curbs themselves, and many owners do so during sidewalk or driveway work instead of waiting. When a contractor does permitted curb or sidewalk work, the contractor must be registered with NYC DOT and must pull the permit.

Yes. Concrete Curb NYC is a licensed and insured contractor, and we provide certificates of insurance on request, which co-op boards and commercial property managers often need.
Yes, and it’s usually the smartest approach. The curb and sidewalk edge meet at a joint, so doing both together gives a cleaner result and often means one permit and one mobilization instead of two.
Most residential curb jobs take one to a few days of on-site work, plus time for the concrete to cure. Permit timing depends on the scope of the job, and we include a realistic timeline in every written quote.
